“Now, I was recommended u0026quot;Miss Happyu0026quot; (aka u0026quot;Pa Happy She Ta Yeru0026quot;), as I was told it was a good movie. So of course I sat down to watch this 2015 movie. Granted, I hadnu0026#39;t even heard about it prior to getting the opportunity to sit down and watch it.u003cbr/u003eu003cbr/u003eIt being a Thai movie, was actually sufficient enough to make me want to sit down and watch it. And so I did…u003cbr/u003eu003cbr/u003eWell, about close to an hour or so, then I just stopped the movie dead in its tracks. Why? Well, I was bored. So frightfully bored and lacking interest in the characters and events that were taking place on the screen.u003cbr/u003eu003cbr/u003eThe storyline was just too mundane and lacked proper spices to make it a story with a punch to it. It just felt tame and very pointless actually. And it didnu0026#39;t really help much to sell the storyline that the characters in the movie were equally pointless and lacking spirit and appeal.u003cbr/u003eu003cbr/u003eWell, it doesnu0026#39;t boil down to being bad acting performances, no, not at all. It was just, pure and simple, a lack of a proper storyline and script that made this movie suffer. And also, the comedy in the movie was just a swing and a miss for me. I didnu0026#39;t even laugh once.u003cbr/u003eu003cbr/u003eI didnu0026#39;t finish the movie, nor do I have any intention of doing so, because the storyline failed to capture my interest utterly and completely. And I didnu0026#39;t really care much about the one-dimensional characters that milled about on the screen.u003cbr/u003eu003cbr/u003eMy rating of u0026quot;Miss Happyu0026quot; is a less than mediocre four out of ten stars, because the movie did have some good production value to it at least, director Prueksa Amaruji should at least have that much credit.”
