The Price of a Broken Heart: Directed by Paul Shapiro. With Park Overall, Laura Innes, Timothy Carhart, Bill Nunn. A woman learns that her husband has been having a very open affair with his secretary and has promised marriage. The wife sues for divorce and also sues the secretary based on an obscure law on alienation of affection, which was created to protect married couples from homewreckers. This sets a new court room consideration, as the culpability of the other woman must be defended and removes from consideration the fault of the married partners.

“Happy to know that Justice was actually served to a Home Wrecker and the Cheating Husband as well. Every Victim of Adultery (whether the Husband or Wife) should have the option to sue the third party be it a man or a woman for Punitive Damage. There should also be a law awarding Punitive Damage to the victim from the cheating spouse as well. These Punitive Damage awards for Adultery shouldnu0026#39;t be just a single lump sum payment, they should be for Life. Because a Marriage is a Sacred Lifetime Vow and Commitment that should last till death and so should the punishment for the Desecration of such a Union.”
