Always and Forever: Directed by Kevin Connor. With Rena Sofer, Dean McDermott, Barbara Eden, Max Gail. Small town high-school lovers Michael Foster and Grace Holland née Anderson lost sight after choosing separate careers. Each’s marriage to another failed in a few years, but Grace has a perfect son, Scott Holland, who realizes her steady date, terribly nice accountant Phillip Walsh, just isn’t a romantic match. Just before their high-school reunion, Michael’s employer sends him and assistant-buddy James Mitchell to that town to supervise the chain’s latest hotel being decorated, as turns out by Grace’s firm. James falls in love with Grace’s assistant-confident Lindsay Taylor. The old lovers keep denying the obvious, but get incessant help from Michael’s in-laws, Scott and the assistants, despite Grace’s mother efforts to make her marry Philip, who gracefully prepares to give way to true love.

“This story has nothing high and nothing low. Itu0026#39;s just blah. Rena Sofer and Dean McDermott do nothing special together. I saw no chemistry. There was more going on (bro-wise) with Scot and Michael than any spark between Grace and Michael.u003cbr/u003eu003cbr/u003eBarbara Eden as mom was super annoying until suddenly her entire outlook towards Graceu0026#39;s relationships changes instantly.u003cbr/u003eu003cbr/u003eIt would have been nice if some time could have been spent exploring the two assistants and their relationship. At least Lindsay had some spark to her.u003cbr/u003eu003cbr/u003eEven the climax was lackluster. There was no enthusiasm in that speech whatsoever.”
