“If you have never seen this film, then stop reading reviews and watch it because the film really works better if you donu0026#39;t know anything about it.u003cbr/u003eu003cbr/u003eNow, the film is certainly flawed, but itu0026#39;s still interesting to watch.u003cbr/u003eu003cbr/u003eI love courtroom thrillers, and thereu0026#39;s plenty of court drama here, but not enough to make the picture work. I think another 20 minutes wouldu0026#39;ve added much more depth to courtroom sequences.u003cbr/u003eu003cbr/u003eThe acting is excellent, but the direction couldu0026#39;ve been sharper. I found the romance to be contrived, never had a flow to it, it just happened.u003cbr/u003eu003cbr/u003eSome blame must go to the screenplay, it wasnu0026#39;t strong, not enough depth to the characters, and some of the courtroom stuff was unrealistic.u003cbr/u003eu003cbr/u003eThe photography is excellent, it hooked me into the picture.u003cbr/u003eu003cbr/u003eOverall, a good film, but I think the writing was a bit lazy.”
