It is because using secular sources, they address uncomfortable details of the alien hypothesis, and the alien abduction hypothesis. Aside from ad hominem attack against the flow of the movie, the reviews against the movie do nothing to refute the factual basis of the movie. It is worth seeing, and then weighing the evidence, and coming to your own conclusion. I for one had never thought about how Starfleet Command might solve the problem of time dilation at faster than light speed travel! Same for the aliens! How do they do it? How do they materialize in your bedroom or travel through walls? Enquiring minds would like to know.”
