“I make my own beer. So, a documentary about beer making and breweries is the sort of thing I should love. However, u0026quot;The Magic of Heinekenu0026quot; is hard to love. While the film has some interesting information (such as the huge number of breweries around the world owned by this mega- company), mostly it looks like a film made specifically for a stockholderu0026#39;s meeting–one that says u0026#39;rah, rah, rah…look at how great we areu0026#39; instead of actually saying anything. It also is chock full of super-creepy stop-motion stuff that talks of the companyu0026#39;s past but is of limited interest to anyone outside of Heineken. So, if you are wanting information and a film that will excite you about beer, keep looking. This one is much drier than Heinekenu0026#39;s beers and not particularly worth seeing for the average viewer–even if they happen to be a beer lover.”
