Boteti: The Returning River: Directed by Graeme Duane. With Jess Reiss. For the first time in 30 years, rain has fallen in sufficient quantities hundreds of miles to the north in the Angolan highlands, sending a stream of water through the river bed. Filmed in stunning HD, ‘Boteti – The Returning River’ documents this extraordinary transformation and the dramatic changes it brings to the resident animals.

“This documentary will please almost every nature lover, that is if youu0026#39;re not too weak to watch killings as well because itu0026#39;s a dog-eat-dog world. Every animal serves it goal in nature and every species has his predator. The food chain is well explained in this documetary, itu0026#39;s not just nice images of African wildlife, there are some bloodier images but it all fits well in the well made and informative documentary. The narrating voice is pleasant to listen to, gives clear explanations about different species and itu0026#39;s all well shot. Itu0026#39;s not Davis Attenborough quality narrating but it comes close. Certainly worth watching if you like to learn things about the wildlife around the Boteti river.”
