Emo the Musical: Directed by Neil Triffett. With Benson Jack Anthony, Jordan Hare, Rahart Adams, Jon Prasida. Ethan, a sullen high-school student whose life is defined by what he hates, finds love with a blindly optimistic Christian girl Trinity, much to the annoyance of his angst-filled band mates and her evangelistic brethren.

“I mean, itu0026#39;s not the best movie ever, but itu0026#39;s pretty relatable. I go to a college in the US and, while we donu0026#39;t have a bunch of emos sulking around (this isnu0026#39;t 2006), we do have Christians. They donu0026#39;t sing or wear long skirts, but they do hand out flyers EVERYDAY, and if youu0026#39;re sitting alone in the cafeteria minding your own business trying to get some homework done, Jesusu0026#39; disciples will come ask you to go to bible study. Even if you say u0026quot;honestly, Iu0026#39;m not that interestedu0026quot; they will continue pestering you, asking you if you want some leftover baked goods. No, Timothy, Sarah, I donu0026#39;t want your fucking mini-cupcakes, I want to study for my botany test. Kindly remove yourself from my personal bubble.”
