“With the title of Freaky Deaky I would be surprised if Christian Slater was not in the cast somewhere. Since the 80s heu0026#39;s collected a group of the quirkiest character parts with a nice psychotic edge to them. Itu0026#39;s what you expect from a Slater film.u003cbr/u003eu003cbr/u003eI wish he had been the real lead character here. But that goes to Billy Burke who plays a suspended Detroit police officer and member of the bomb squad. The prologue at the beginning has him going out for a smoke in a drug dealeru0026#39;s house and letting a bomb go off under the chair heu0026#39;s sitting on. That has a few people against him, but he considered it a public service.u003cbr/u003eu003cbr/u003eAnyway thereu0026#39;s a plot in the main body of the story to extort money from a millionaire Crispin Glover. Glover has a former Black Panther Party member Michael Jai White as a retainer/confidante. White is also good.u003cbr/u003eu003cbr/u003eFreaky Deaky is all right, some will make it a cult film, it has that kind of quality to it.”
