Taqdeer: Directed by A. Salaam. With Bharat Bhushan, Shalini, Farida Jalal, Johnny Walker. For the well-being of her children, a destitute widow is forced to marry a man she dislikes.

“This movie besides the story is just worth watching for the three excellent songs, especially the classic one by Rafi u0026#39;Jab Jab bahar aayeeu0026#39;. Although this classic song has been played at 3 different times in the movie by three different singers Lata and Mahendra Kapoor besides Rafi, but it was not boring and blended well with the situation in the story. Although it seems to be a familiar Bollywood story of 1960s, but the emotions and sentiments have been portrayed very well. It was good to know from earlier reviews that it is remake of a Konkani film, where the same heroine Shalini also played the heroineu0026#39;s role. It was great to see young Farida Jalal and Jalal Agha. Kamal Kapoor also acted well in a negative role. Overall an excellent movie to watch for songs and the story.”
