“I was given the chance to sit down here in 2020 to watch u0026quot;Morticianu0026quot;. Needless to say that I jumped at the chance, as I thoroughly enjoy the Asian cinema. Granted, I hadnu0026#39;t even heard about this movie prior to sitting down to watch it, so I had no idea what to expect.u003cbr/u003eu003cbr/u003eWell, while the movie definitely was watchable, I must admit that directors Kong-Hon u0026#39;Cubu0026#39; Chin sort of came up with something that just fell shortly out of my spectrum of interest. Yeah, I watched the entire movie, but I wasnu0026#39;t particularly impressed, nor can I say that u0026quot;Morticianu0026quot; proved to be properly entertaining for me.u003cbr/u003eu003cbr/u003eThe storyline was just a bit too strange and far fetched for me to fully grasp and enjoy it. And that was essentially why the movie fell short with me.u003cbr/u003eu003cbr/u003eIt should be said that the movieu0026#39;s cast were doing good jobs, and it was quite nice to watch Sui-man Chim show up here, as he was quite good.u003cbr/u003eu003cbr/u003eAll in all, u0026quot;Morticianu0026quot; lands a very mediocre five out of ten stars from me. It was watchable, but it wasnu0026#39;t a great movie. I doubt that I will ever be returning to watch it a second time though.”
