“This is the second film in French director Eric Rohmeru0026#39;s u0026quot;Six Moral Talesu0026quot; film series. Iu0026#39;m watching the films in order, and so far Iu0026#39;ve only gotten to the first two (u0026quot;The Bakery Girl of Monceauu0026quot; and this one), and, out of those two films, this one is probably the most bland.u003cbr/u003eu003cbr/u003eTrust me, thereu0026#39;s plenty of positive things to be said about u0026quot;Suzanneu0026#39;s Careeru0026quot;. Thereu0026#39;s some pretty good characters, a nice love story, and some really interesting and artistic filmmaking/storytelling techniques. However, the film is, overall, kind of bland and, at times, even quite boring! For an only 55 minute film, it went by pretty slow, even if there were quite a few neat things about it along the way.u003cbr/u003eu003cbr/u003eOverall, the film is recommended if youu0026#39;re planning on watching all six of the u0026quot;Six Moral Talesu0026quot; film series. Otherwise, thereu0026#39;s no real reason to watch this unless youu0026#39;re a big fan of French/romantic cinema.”
