“With u0026quot;Archaon: The Halloween Summoningu0026quot; being a horror movie, of course I would eventually find myself sitting down to watch it, because I am a huge fan of the horror genre after all.u003cbr/u003eu003cbr/u003eWell, I must say that writers Paul Ernest and Michael White certainly had some interesting enough concepts for the storyline and plot. However, the movie as a whole and entertainment-wise just didnu0026#39;t really cut it for me. Sure, u0026quot;Archaon: The Halloween Summoningu0026quot; was watchable, but this was by no means an outstanding or particularly memorable horror experience.u003cbr/u003eu003cbr/u003eFor me it was the mainly the pacing of the movie that dragged the enjoyment of the movie down, as well as the overall lack of anything interesting or even remotely scary. For a horror movie, then I have to say that u0026quot;Archaon: The Halloween Summoningu0026quot; was a very, very bland experience.u003cbr/u003eu003cbr/u003eThe storyline was just held back because there wasnu0026#39;t a particularly well-working horror feeling to it. The movie just seemed a bit too shallow in that aspect. It didnu0026#39;t really feel that the characters in the movie were fearing for their lives and well-being.u003cbr/u003eu003cbr/u003eThe acting in the movie was for the most parts actually fair enough. One has to keep in mind the limitations of the script and storyline that was imposed upon the actors and actresses.u003cbr/u003eu003cbr/u003eI was initially suckered in by the movieu0026#39;s rather interesting and appealing cover/poster. Which ultimately turned out to oversell the movie greatly, because the colorful cover/poster had absolutely nothing to do with the brown-toned and dull-looking demonic entity that milled about as a lanky, non-threatening creature.u003cbr/u003eu003cbr/u003eAll in all, u0026quot;Archaon: The Halloween Summoningu0026quot; is not a great horror experience, and you will not be a poorer individual if you opt to skip on this title entirely, trust me. My rating of director Paul Ernestu0026#39;s 2020 horror movie u0026quot;Archaon: The Halloween Summoningu0026quot; is a mere three out of ten stars. I managed to watch the entire movie, but I can honestly say that I am not returning to watch the movie a second time.”
