Underdogs: Directed by Téo Frank. With Téo Frank, Tiffany Johnson, Ian McGinley, Mason Strehl. Téo Frank was just 18 and an aspiring director when he decided to try his luck at filmmaking on the other side of the Atlantic. After a series of encounters and experiences, his trip took a turn when he crossed paths with photographer Mason Strehl in Alaska. Their encounter took him to New York where he got the chance to work with underground Hip Hop artist Awon, Phoniks, Tiff the Gift, and Dephlow. From this adventure a documentary was born called UNDERDOGS. Who are the rappers in this film? Téo didn’t know them when he began, and never dreamed their encounter would change his life the way it did.

“I really enjoyed the movie. To see independent artists start small and grow in the craft and skill was amazing. The MCs were dope and Phonicu0026#39;s beats were very soulful and authentic.u003cbr/u003eu003cbr/u003eI loved the way Teo created the story and presented it through the lens. The movie had a musical feel to it at certain points, yeah a hip hop musical.u003cbr/u003eu003cbr/u003eThe creative genius of all was truly inspiring to watch. Iu0026#39;m going to recommend this to all the creatives that I know.u003cbr/u003eu003cbr/u003eNetflix, you got a good one here!”
