The Mountain: Directed by Rick Alverson. With Tye Sheridan, Udo Kier, Larry Fessenden, Margot Klein. The story of a young man who, after losing his mother, goes to work with a doctor specializing in lobotomies and therapies.

Butu003cbr/u003eu003cbr/u003e(HELP HELP Iu0026#39;M FALLING?)u003cbr/u003eu003cbr/u003eHe makes sure to lay down a simple groundwork first, so the viewer doesnu0026#39;t get too lost in his interpretation interpretation.u003cbr/u003eu003cbr/u003eTHE MOUNTAIN DOESNu0026#39;T HAVE ANY GROUNDWORK, UNFORTUNATELY. NOTHING IS SET IN STONE. THERe isnu0026#39;t one set theme that you can latch on to. Because of this, the whole film feels wrongu003cbr/u003eu003cbr/u003eWRONG WRONG KRONKu003cbr/u003eu003cbr/u003eItu0026#39;s hard to tell what was an intentional choice from the director, and what was just an inconsistent detail.u003cbr/u003eu003cbr/u003eItu0026#39;s a shame, because the movie was great at times.
