“A waste.u003cbr/u003eu003cbr/u003eI appreciate the darker story tone that u0026#39;Napoleon and Samanthau0026#39; attempts to provide, sadly none of it really sticks and it comes out as a slow paced, dull would-be adventure.u003cbr/u003eu003cbr/u003eThe cast features two very familiar names – Michael Douglas and Jodie Foster. The latter doesnu0026#39;t have much to do, while Douglas plays an oddly written character. Johnny Whitaker, fresh off the lovely u0026#39;The Biscuit Eateru0026#39;, is alright. Will Geeru0026#39;s role has a lot of heart, if not much else.u003cbr/u003eu003cbr/u003eThey try to cram so many different elements into this, to the point it feels overcrowded and unrefined. Thereu0026#39;s a lion in the film, for practically no reason whatsoever. As well as unexplored plot lines and characters. Without wanting to give anything away, itu0026#39;s all very uneven.u003cbr/u003eu003cbr/u003eA cool and intriguing concept, just not fulfilled one bit. Disappointing.”
