“Sathyam Paranja Viswasikkuvo (Believe It or Not) is that kind of a social drama for families set in a Kerala village that shows the low side of the protagonist, puts him in the centre of an incident that takes up one full hour, and then attempts to convert those lows into highs with a sticky moral at the end and it tends to work sometimes because of the occasional comedy (one of the best opening sequences I have seen in a Malayalam comedy film in 2019)) and the commendable performances of the entire cast, mainly Biju Menon who can make me smile and cry at the same time.
