Crossing Streets: Directed by Marc A. Hutchins. With Kevin Nichols, Chris Cleveland, Laura Avnaim, Kaylyn Aznavorian. Marcus Williams is a city detective who is unwillingly thrust into a partnership with Minister Samuel Gray to solve a gang-related shooting. As the mismatched duo begin their journey, they soon discover the incident is part of something bigger, and catching the killer means stopping an all-out gang war. Through the investigation, Marcus and Samuel both learn that saving lives means learning to work together in this buddy cop dramedy.

“Team a cop with a clergyman to look into some gang trouble and let this comedy, and action-filled buddy movie begin. Unfortunately, there isnu0026#39;t much in the way of comic hijinks here, and the action is hard to come by too. As far as I could see, the action consisted of one placid car chase, with nary an accident or rollover, and one foot chase. Both seemed intended more as padding for a movie that still only comes in at 88 minutes. Neither seemed very exciting.u003cbr/u003eu003cbr/u003ePerhaps Iu0026#39;m looking for the wrong thing here, but Iu0026#39;ve seen so many cop u0026amp; (fill in the blank) buddy movies that my expectations are more in line with Men in Black, Turner u0026amp; Hooch, Rush Hour, Bad Boys, Lethal Weapon, and 48 Hours. This adventure was a tad out of my comfort range for such movies.u003cbr/u003eu003cbr/u003eIu0026#39;ve never heard or seen anything by the director or writers of this film before, and I didnu0026#39;t recognize any of the actors. It also seemed a bit preachy for me, but I guess that goes with the territory when one of the u0026quot;buddiesu0026quot; is a man of the cloth.u003cbr/u003eu003cbr/u003eMovies with such low budgets can only offer so much. This isnu0026#39;t really a bad movie, itu0026#39;s just not very exciting, so anyone looking for more than dire prose will probably be disappointed. At least I was.”
