“Chonda Pierce is a Christian comedian who is probably unknown to the average viewer. However, her story in this documentary offers a lot to viewers…in particular, how to deal with pain and heartbreaks that come to all of us. During the last few years, Pierce has experienced more than her share of misery, with an estranged relationship with her daughter and a husband who died because he essentially drank himself to death.
