“This was a wonderful sports movie for anybody who appreciates volleyball or appreciate sports in general. This was quite an excellent film, granted it was sponsored by the CCP and it was very obvious that it was a patriotic film about the greatness of China, but from a purely objective point of view who can argue with what China has achieved in the past 30 years? Toxic government or not.u003cbr/u003eu003cbr/u003eAs an non partisan American I can stand back and appreciate what theyu0026#39;ve done and for me this movie was more about characters and strategy and individuals, than it was about the state. This film was very good, it packed a lot of emotion and the magnificent Gong Li was her amazing self. What a presence she is.u003cbr/u003eu003cbr/u003eThe entire cast was great, I recommend this film. Uplifting for sure.”
