48KHeroes Don’t Come Home: Directed by Jake Hulse. With Andrew Casanova, Tyler McElroy, Robert Schorr, Katie Iacona. Deep in the woods of Maine, a broken promise made after the September 11th attacks forces two friends to confront the teenagers they were and the men they’ve become.
“I enjoyed this movie. It is well written, well acted and touches on things that all Americans should be giving serious thought. It is an emotional and touching movie. I cried, and that was unexpected. While war plays a part, for me, it was about emotions, how people deal with emotions and how emotions drive us to do what we do. It is about manipulation by the invisible hand. It is about cynicism and hope. It is about commitment and betrayal and figuring out what those things mean. The characters in this movie felt genuine and real. I liked the distance this movie could cover without getting bogged down in the details; it left enough open to the vieweru0026#39;s imagination. This movie is worth seeing and it likely will stick with you for a while.”
