“As I sat down to watch the 2013 movie u0026quot;Concrete Blondesu0026quot; here late in 2020, I hadnu0026#39;t even heard about the movie prior to getting to watch it. So I wasnu0026#39;t sure what I was in for. And from the synopsis, I must admit that I wasnu0026#39;t really harboring the highest of hopes or expectations. But still, it being a movie that I hadnu0026#39;t already seen, and me getting the opportunity to do so, of course I managed to sit down to watch it.u003cbr/u003eu003cbr/u003eAnd color me impressed. I found u0026quot;Concrete Blondesu0026quot; from writers Alex Douglas, Nicholas Kalikow, Rob Warren Thomas and Chris Wyatt to be a surprisingly interesting and entertaining movie. I liked the storyline and the pacing of the movie, and it turned out to be a good movie overall actually.u003cbr/u003eu003cbr/u003eThe storyline told in u0026quot;Concrete Blondesu0026quot; was pretty straight forward, though I did enjoy the twists that were put into the storyline by the writers. Was it predictable? Well, I didnu0026#39;t think so. And I think those twists definitely spruced up the movie quite well.u003cbr/u003eu003cbr/u003eThe characters in the movie were complimentary to the storyline, and they were nicely detailed and fleshed out. And of course it helped a lot that they had managed to put together a great ensemble of actors and actresses for portraying the various roles in the movie. It was particularly fun to watch John Rhys-Davies in a role such as the one he had in u0026quot;Concrete Blondesu0026quot;. But the most outstanding actor in the movie was Brian Thomas Smith in his role as Karl.u003cbr/u003eu003cbr/u003eFor me, u0026quot;Concrete Blondesu0026quot; was good entertainment from beginning to end, and I thoroughly enjoyed the movie. I am going to rate it a well-deserved six out of ten stars.”
