Submerged: Directed by Anthony Hickox. With Steven Seagal, Christine Adams, William Hope, Nick Brimble. Chris Kody, the world’s best mercenary, is freed from prison — but there’s a catch. Kody must use his lethal weapons and fighting skills to stop a group of terrorists who have taken over a nuclear sub.

“I really had my hopes up for this one. After reading the original description of the film describing biological cargo…submarine…terrorists I thought we had the makings of an unrelated u0026quot;Under Siegeu0026quot; sequel and since u0026quot;Under Siege 2u0026quot; was better than u0026quot;Under Siege 1u0026quot; and with the recent likable Seagal film u0026quot;Into the Sunu0026quot;, I figured let me give it a look. And it wasnu0026#39;t even worth my viewing it for the full 90+ minutes. The storyline was way off the original description and it seems that we are now watching a poor manu0026#39;s u0026quot;The Dirty Dozenu0026quot;. Though I rented this movie because I am a Seagal fan, I found that Vinnie Jones played a pretty good role and B+ movie action lead Gary Daniels is totally under-utilized. And the direction style used by Anthony Hickox does not lend itself to the movie in any way. Itu0026#39;s a shame that this is what Seagal has come to with the movies he makes. Perhaps he should take a step back and look at u0026quot;Into the Sunu0026quot; which brought him back to his original form.”
