“I donu0026#39;t care what anyone says. This film is GOOD. In fact, apart from u0026quot;Oliveru0026quot; and u0026quot;The Sound Of Musicu0026quot;, itu0026#39;s the only musical I can bear to watch. I didnu0026#39;t like u0026quot;Saturday Night Feveru0026quot;, but this follow-up was wonderful. It has a strong and believable story, excellent acting (by everyone) and the music was simply, dreamy. The Bee Gees (in my opinion) never wrote anything better. I cannot understand WHY Barry Gibb didnu0026#39;t seriously turn his hand to musicals? He could wipe the floor with lah-dee-dah idiots like Lloyd-Webber. Itu0026#39;s one of the best movies I ever saw at the cinema and the soundtracku0026#39;s lost none of its appeal in hundreds of playings. So why wasnu0026#39;t it a success? I guess it was simply released at the wrong time. Both Travolta and The Bee Gees were victims of their earlier (massive) success. Iu0026#39;m delighted to say u0026quot;fashionu0026quot; didnu0026#39;t ultimately hold them back for long. All in all, hugely entertaining!”
