Colts/Stallions in general, are not the type of animal you want to bond with – thatu0026#39;s why most are gelded. Grooming takes place while a horse is tethered, preferably with cross ties. A horse in a domesticated environment requires a halter, at night, in a stall, it may be removed but should be replaced asap in the AM.
