Bigger Stronger Faster*: Directed by Chris Bell. With Chris Bell, Hank Aaron, Lyle Alzado, Joshua Amsden. An examination of America’s win-at-all-cost culture from the perspective of bodybuilding and performance enhancing drugs, as it focuses on a pair of siblings chasing their dream.

“My background is such that Iu0026#39;ve met some of the people in this film, and have substantial experience with the world of bodybuilding. My academic background is in the sciences, and this is a topic I have researched to death.u003cbr/u003eu003cbr/u003eThis film takes an honest view at steroids, and more importantly at the attitudes that push people towards altering u0026quot;what god gave themu0026quot;. If anything it should make people realize the problem isnu0026#39;t a single class of drugs that has been sensationalized, but a growing problem of body dimorphism. It is self worth, and self-esteem in a bottle. And there is nothing u0026quot;biased towards steroidsu0026quot; about that message. If anything it is simply one of several performance enhancement methods he demonstrates.u003cbr/u003eu003cbr/u003eI know to many the movie seems biased. But to anyone who has done the research, it isnu0026#39;t so much this movie is biased as the media depiction of these drugs is as ridiculous as the mediau0026#39;s depiction of marijuana in u0026quot;Reefer Madnessu0026quot;. People are so bombarded with misinformation about drugs in general in America, that when they are shown something honest, it rocks their point of reference and they feel it is biased.u003cbr/u003eu003cbr/u003eWhat this documentary is, is eye opening, honest, and very complete in itu0026#39;s presentation. More so then any other documentary Iu0026#39;ve seen on the topic.”
