Jack Frost: Directed by Jules Bass, Arthur Rankin Jr.. With Buddy Hackett, Robert Morse, Paul Frees, Larry Storch. The Groundhog tells the story of how, for once, Jack Frost became human, and helped a knight win his lady love.

“I was thinking u0026quot;This is oddu0026quot; pretty much through the whole thing. But it kept my attention and I didnu0026#39;t want to turn it off.u003cbr/u003eu003cbr/u003eBuddy Hackett plays the groundhog, which is a hoot. Itu0026#39;s better than his Chinese waiter routine, I guess. The guy who plays the villain sounds like Boris from the old Rocky and Bullwinkle cartoon, but it isnu0026#39;t the same guy.u003cbr/u003eu003cbr/u003eThere are many questions here. Why did Jack Frost choose the name u0026quot;Snipu0026quot; if there already was a character named snip? Why is it nobody noticed that the villain is actually a genius with clockwork? How did Jack Frost learn how to tailor?u003cbr/u003eu003cbr/u003eThat doesnu0026#39;t really matter, though. Itu0026#39;s about as believable as any of the other stop-motion Holiday specials.”
