Das Johannes Evangelium – Der Film: Directed by Philip Saville. With Christopher Plummer, Henry Ian Cusick, Stuart Bunce, Daniel Kash. The story of Jesus’ life as told by the apostle John, narrated by Christopher Plummer.

“I saw this movie last weekend. The weekend before I saw u0026quot;Passion of the Christu0026quot;. The u0026quot;Gospel of Johnu0026quot; is truly a line-by-line presentation of the Gospel of John, and I thought the actors did an excellent job. The movie was top-quality in all aspects, which was a pleasant surprise. Too many past Christian-produced films have been pretty low on the quality standard. Anyway, the best part of this movie is that the spoken dialogue and the narration is actually whatu0026#39;s written in the English translation of the Bible, and that is the most important thing here. God says that itu0026#39;s u0026quot;his word that goes out and does the work it was sent to dou0026quot;, and that u0026quot;faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.u0026quot; People donu0026#39;t need to hear opinions, variations, or whatever. The worldu0026#39;s full of that stuff, and yes thereu0026#39;s a place for it. However, what will be most effective in touching peopleu0026#39;s hearts is for them to read/hear the word of God, and that is the main reason why this film is most excellent.u003cbr/u003eu003cbr/u003eEveryone should see this film.”
