The Seasoning House: Directed by Paul Hyett. With Rosie Day, Sean Pertwee, Kevin Howarth, Anna Walton. Sold at a brothel deep in the woods to work as a caretaker, a hapless deaf girl must summon the courage to fight for her life.

“… and somebody has to clean it. Though calling this an action film is a bit of stretch. The last third of the movie would fit the bill, but up to that point itu0026#39;s more a thriller (with lots of torture implemented into it). While it does look gritty (and therefor fits the mood), a similar themed movie called u0026quot;Edenu0026quot; did a far better job in telling a story in that territory.u003cbr/u003eu003cbr/u003eOur main character has one unique ability (or disadvantage or whatever you want to call it), that sets the movie apart a bit and does come in handy in some neat scenes. But there is too many convenient things happening, one of them being the end, that doesnu0026#39;t really shock. It rather is that: u0026quot;Ah, this again.u0026quot;. The actors try their best and itu0026#39;s a decent movie, if you are into those kind of torture/revenge flicks. But if youu0026#39;re looking for more (substance wise), I will again refer to Eden.”
