A Horse Called Bear: Directed by Daniel Knudsen. With Nicholas Ryan Gibbs, Wayne E. Brown, Austin Farnsworth, Katelyn Grace Farnsworth. After his mother unexpectedly dies, 17-year-old Ethan discovers he is the owner of his mother’s horse – a horse he never even knew existed. He travels cross country to live with his grandparents and investigate the mystery. His grandmother is supportive but his angry grandfather Otto doesn’t seem to want him around. Next door live three children who are taking riding lessons at the same farm where his mother’s horse is boarded. Their lives intersect as Ethan deals with his grief over his mother’s death and the children deal with a neighborhood bully whose father works at the horse farm. The journey for Ethan, Otto, the three children, the bully and her father all revolve around a gentle and faithful horse called Bear who deeply touches all their lives. This is a delightful redemption-themed family movie that will appeal to children, teens, horse-lovers and people of all ages.

“A Horse Called Bear is a cute movie. This is good for all ages. I enjoyed seeing the interaction of the children, especially when they were in church and learning how to show Christian love to others.u003cbr/u003eu003cbr/u003eThis is a sweet movie about forgiving others, when they have rejected you or hurt you in other ways. The movie is good and I recommend that others buy and watch it. I only gave it a rating of 8, because I was hoping to see some stronger witnessing at the end of the movie. Family made up with one another, and they prayed to God together, but it was not clear, if anyone asked Jesus into his heart to become his Lord and Savior. The youth pastor mentioned what the Lord did on the cross for us, but it would have been better, if an older child was led to the Lord during this story.u003cbr/u003eu003cbr/u003eHowever, A Horse Called Bear is an entertaining, moral movie, which makes it an above average film. I just want to encourage this film company and others to be bolder in presenting the gospel. Everyone needs Jesus! God Bless You!”
