“This film is about a middle-aged woman named Leige Robert, who is trying to connect with her Algerian roots while dealing with a family tragedy that takes a heavy toll on her. She also struggles with having healthy relationships with her family during time of grief and she also struggles with keeping herself a healthy person. The Director of this film is Maïwenn Le Besco who is also Leige Robert, which is the main character in this film. Maïwenn is an actress, film director, screenwriter and was born in Seine- Saint -Denis, France on April 17th, 1976nThis story takes place in modern-day summer 2020 in Paris, FrancenThe main Character of this story is Maïwenn Le Besco also known as Leige Robert in the film and she is a woman that comes from a traumatic/ toxic childhood which resulted in the closeness of her and her grandfather. She really struggles during this tragedy and seemed to be an unstable character mentally. Luckily, Leige had a very supportive and helpful Husband known as Lois Garrel, but in the film, he plays as François. François just plays the role of a supportive husband who is very involved with his family and Leiges. Franny Ardant plays as Caroline and is the toxic mother of Leige. She is known to be as the person who isnu0026#39;t scared of anyone or anything. Her and Leige relationship is not very good and throughout the film you see the different controversies between them two. Allain Franco plays Pierre which is Neiges father. The two are practically distant from each other and never really interact in a healthy father/ daughter relationship type of way. Finally. Leiges Grandfather is played by Omar Marwan and is known as Emir Fellah in the film. He has very little screen time but when he is shown he does not communicate much due to his dementia.u003cbr/u003eu003cbr/u003eAn important theme I notice in this film is family Drama. I notice this because of how it shows the family struggling to connect with each other during this time of grief.u003cbr/u003eu003cbr/u003eI recommend this film to someone who wants to figure out a way to find their roots and have a better family connection because this film shows that communication is key to having healthier family relationships.”
