Rory Scovel : The Charleston Special: Directed by Scott Moran. With Rory Scovel. Rory Scovel’s first hourlong stand-up special, directed by Scott Moran and filmed at the Woolfe Street Playhouse in Charleston, SC. The special was produced entirely, from building the set to hanging lights, by Rory and a crew of his closest friends.

“The first show I saw from him was Rory Scovel Tries Stand-Up for the First Time (2017). I liked it and rated it with an eight. But I guess it wasnu0026#39;t his first stand-up comedy as The Charleston Special is from 2015. I liked it also, maybe not as much as the other show but itu0026#39;s certainly good enough for an easy and enjoyable hour of amusement. Heu0026#39;s very interactive with the audience, heu0026#39;s never static on scene like some other comedians sometimes are, his humor is different but certainly not bad. Rory Scovel is just a good storyteller, he feels the audience and knows how to play them. He has good improvisation skills, itu0026#39;s all clearly not rehearsed word by word. If anything unusual happens during his show he will make it funny, thatu0026#39;s what a good improvisor can do, something he clearly is.”
