47 Meters Down: Directed by Johannes Roberts. With Mandy Moore, Claire Holt, Chris Johnson, Yani Gellman. Two sisters vacationing in Mexico are trapped in a shark cage at the bottom of the ocean. With less than an hour of oxygen left and great white sharks circling nearby, they must fight to survive.

Of course the intro, party scene u0026amp; boys are what youu0026#39;d expect for this genre, and had me wondering if Iu0026#39;d make it to the end due to all the cliché.u003cbr/u003eu003cbr/u003eBut it did take off from there nicely, had some genuine holy f*ck moments, a good pacing and had me wondering all the way if the girls would make it to the end…u003cbr/u003eu003cbr/u003eThe camera work was great and the sharks well done (a bit too aggressive for total realism, but hey). The ending was also original, for once!u003cbr/u003eu003cbr/u003eCompared to The Shallows, Iu0026#39;d say itu0026#39;s equally solid in terms of entertainment value and getting the viewer hooked until the end.u003cbr/u003eu003cbr/u003eOverall a solid 7 in my book.”
