“I read the entire manga and watched the anime version. This is entirely my personal opinion of this live-action:nu003culu003eu003cliu003ePLOT: Since the producer tried to compressed lot of content into a 2h movie, the pace is rush and many details have to be changed/ignored and I can understand that. But there are some important details that link directly to the story, like the age of children, are also changed (I guess because the age of the actors).u003c/liu003eu003cliu003eACTING: Itu0026#39;s alright, they do sort of have the elements that represent the characters, but sometimes it feels a little excessive.u003c/liu003eu003cliu003eVISUAL: The demons look scary, children are cute, the house and forest kind of have the normal-but-mysterious vibeu003c/liu003eu003c/ulu003e”
