“Well, for a teenage comedy, then u0026quot;The Touchstoneu0026quot; is fairly straight forward. Sure, the storyline and plot is generic, but the movie still managed to remain interesting and enjoyable to watch.u003cbr/u003eu003cbr/u003eDirector and writer Robert Remy managed to deliver something watchable, albeit very generic here with u0026quot;The Touchstoneu0026quot;. However, while the movie was entertaining enough for what it was, I feel that the comedy aspect was a bit lacking. I, at least, didnu0026#39;t really laugh much throughout the course of the movie. It just felt like director Robert Remy didnu0026#39;t really go all the way and delivered the laughs where they were needed.u003cbr/u003eu003cbr/u003eThe storyline is your average teenage comedy about adolescent boys trying to hook up with women. Enough said, so you know exactly the type of movie you are in for here.u003cbr/u003eu003cbr/u003eThe acting in u0026quot;The Touchstoneu0026quot; was actually working out nicely, and the young actors in the lead definitely carried the movie well enough.u003cbr/u003eu003cbr/u003eu0026quot;The Touchstoneu0026quot; was, however, hardly a movie that you will sit down to watch more than once, as the storyline just didnu0026#39;t have sufficient contents to sustain more than a single viewing.u003cbr/u003eu003cbr/u003eMy rating of this 2012 movie is a mediocre five out of ten stars.”
