Doppel: Directed by Kevin Hicks. With Vickie Hicks, Kevin Hicks, Brian Balog, Michelle Hicks. Recent empty nesters set out to shoot footage for a 25th anniversary video, when tragic past events begin to haunt them in ways they could not have imagined.

“Here we go again…first off, if you see a review that has a 10/10 rating and the opening line is, u0026quot;Iu0026#39;m a huge horror fan…u0026quot; that is just so ridiculous and stupid and obvious that itu0026#39;s a fake review. 🙄 Moving on, the u0026quot;coupleu0026quot; is creepy in this movie, like my heading said this feels like a movie a family made at home. The problem is, dadu0026#39;s gone so the oldest son is playing dad instead. Yeah, u0026quot;momu0026quot; looks more like grandma and u0026quot;dadu0026quot; looks like older brother, feels more like taboo than horror.u003cbr/u003eu003cbr/u003eSo, this is a POV/found footage style movie so you know itu0026#39;s no budget, bad acting, etc. I sadly have a soft spot for these movies, even at their worse.u003cbr/u003eu003cbr/u003eVickie, the u0026quot;momu0026quot; grandma is just out of her element, so out of it that itu0026#39;s really annoying. For example, she decides to do a Vlog but keeps calling it a V log, no matter how many times sheu0026#39;s corrected, itu0026#39;s stupid and annoying.u003cbr/u003eu003cbr/u003eSo yeah, the bad acting with terrible casting and awful script just completely ruins this movie and makes it impossible to get into it because all the characters are either annoying or ones you canu0026#39;t wait for them to die.u003cbr/u003eu003cbr/u003eMy advice, skip it, thereu0026#39;s better movies out there from this genre.”
