“Well, the 2012 Thai horror anthology u0026quot;3 A.M.u0026quot; wasnu0026#39;t exactly an extraordinary horror experience, so it was with little hopes for the 2014 sequel u0026quot;3 A.M. 2u0026quot; (aka u0026quot;Ti sam khuen sam 3Du0026quot;) that I sat down to watch this in 2021.u003cbr/u003eu003cbr/u003eAnd I will say that this sequel was about as enjoyable as the 2012 movie, so if you enjoyed that, then you will enjoy this 2014 sequel too. I wasnu0026#39;t much of a fan of the first movie, and found in to be mediocre, and this 2014 anthology didnu0026#39;t really up the game.u003cbr/u003eu003cbr/u003eThe three stories told in this anthology were definitely of very different qualities. The first segment, titled u0026quot;The Third Nightu0026quot; was the least interesting of all the three segments, and it was a shame that they opted for that one as the first one, because it sort of put a dampener on the rest of the segments. The second segment, titled u0026quot;The Conventu0026quot;, definitely had the most commercial appeal in terms of contents and value. While the third segment, titled u0026quot;The Offeringu0026quot; may not be the most riveting of stories, it was actually the one that offered the most in terms of giving the audience something to think about.u003cbr/u003eu003cbr/u003eIu0026#39;ve seen my share of Asian horror anthologies, and u0026quot;3 A.M. 2u0026quot; is definitely not a contender to be among the top rated. Sure, the anthology was watchable, but it wasnu0026#39;t a particularly memorable or outstanding experience.u003cbr/u003eu003cbr/u003eMy rating of the 2014 anthology lands on a very bland and mediocre five out of ten stars. If you enjoy Asian horror, then there are far better choices readily available.”
