Hermano: Directed by Marcel Rasquin. With Eliú Armas, Fernando Moreno, Beto Benites, Gonzalo Cubero. Two young men who have been raised as brothers look to their soccer skills as a way of getting out of their slum. While a scout is in town, an act of violence threatens to tear them apart.

“So iu0026#39;m from Venezuela and i never took the time to watch this film before, until one guy in my deontological ethics college group decided to pick this one for a movie analysis assignment, and iu0026#39;m very glad he did. Hermano is a movie about two very different but well attached brothers and their dream of going pro on football, the story of the picture is an authentic way of showing how easy is to not take the right path for your future while living in any Caracasu0026#39; slum. The acting is pretty solid and the movie is made in a way that allows the foreign viewers to understand good enough what the main characters are experiencing. So if you feel like having a foreign treat, i would strongly recommend this one, trust me, and i donu0026#39;t even like football.”
