Gulzar, The Legend, fails to deliver an engaging narrative, as his Writing is not up-to the mark. Despite shifting between two time-lines, the film never transports you emotionally. There are moments that shine, particularly in the first-hour, but overall, the Writing is below expectations. Mehra is a filmmaker with a voice u0026amp; his work in u0026#39;Mirzyau0026#39; shows us that, once again. He is bogged down by a weakly written Screenplay, which lessons the effort put in. Also, the slow-pacing, doesnu0026#39;t work.u003cbr/u003eu003cbr/u003ePaweł Dyllusu0026#39;s Cinematography is Magnificent. Heu0026#39;s the real star of u0026#39;Mirzyau0026#39;. Art u0026amp; Costume Design are perfection. Shankar-Eshan-Loyu0026#39;s Score is wonderful. Action-Sequences are well-executed. u003cbr/u003eu003cbr/u003ePerformance-Wise: Debutants Harshvardhan Kapoor and Saiyami Kher, deliver well. Harshvardhan is earnest u0026amp; uses his emotive eyes to express much of the time, while Saiyami, looks gorgeous throughout u0026amp; portrays her part with conviction. They both have potential, but u0026#39;Mirzyau0026#39; doesnu0026#39;t utilize to the hilt. Of the supporting cast, Anuj Choudhry is notable, while Om Puri is wasted.u003cbr/u003eu003cbr/u003eOn the whole, u0026#39;Mirzyau0026#39; is a body beautiful, minus soul.”
