The Big Day: Directed by Ian McCrudden. With Julianna Margulies, Ivan Sergei, Nancy Banks, Keith Bogart. While trying to make amends, a man sends his soon-to-be-married brother fleeing on his wedding day, all while his bride is anxiously awaiting him.

“Sara (Julianna Margulies) is about to marry a very nice gentleman named John (Ivan Sergei). A couple of hours before the big event, John learns a secret about his bride to be. Going a bit berserk, he takes off in his car to analyze the situation away from the families. Wedding guests arrive but the bridegroom can not be found. Will it be a jilting for Sara?u003cbr/u003eu003cbr/u003eThis funny little movie is especially entertaining when the spotlight is on the wedding guests or the brideu0026#39;s mother (Dixie Carter). Carter is perfection as a Texas mother bent on her daughteru0026#39;s wedding coming off without a hitch. When it doesnu0026#39;t, watching her reactions is a delight. The motley crew of guests provide much mirth, also. Margulies looks beautiful and Sergei handles his role as the mixed-up groom with ease. For those looking for another film with romantic fun, this might be worth locating at the video store or library.”
