“When I heard that one of the most ballsy, offensive, and most hilarious comedian ever Jeff Ross was going to be doing one of the most risky stand up specials ever by preforming live for prisoners in Brazos County Jail, you bet I was tuning in for it. I mean what could go wrong?u003cbr/u003eu003cbr/u003eWell Iu0026#39;m happy to report that this is one of the funniest, genius, touching, most clever, and quite possibly one of the most riskiest shows ever done by a comedian ever, and my goodness does this show shine in every way. What we have here is a comedy special which I will say does have a lot of time dedicated to Ross showing off just how the Public Justice System feels corrupt and how the idea that all people locked up are some thick-skinned bad guys, is just incorrect. This aspect is shown off throughout the show filmed just like a documentary as Ross talks too many of the inmates around getting to know their stories as too why they are there and such. I thought I would find this dynamic to be dull, boring, and just thrown in my face in order to convey a point; and I will say at first it may feel like that, however, paying real close attention I found that it was rather touching and sad to see and hear these inmates stories, which then seeing them laugh and enjoy Jeff Rossu0026#39;s hilarious performance at the jail, really adds a heartfelt feeling. Jeff Ross clearly is doing this not just for the attention, but too prove a point that everyone deserves a 2nd chance, and chance to laugh. Which laughter is really the key word here. Not only does every joke in here work, bu they are funny as hell! You can clearly see that Ross is working off the top of his head here, and in the end he succeeds with flying colors. Some may argue that u0026#39;Well it says he was supposed to do it like he does the roasts and he didnu0026#39;t!u0026#39; But I would argue he did in fact do just that, a lot of his joke were directed at the inmates themselves, and at multiple points he brings them up to roast them Jeff Ross style. By the end of this movie not only will you have laughed yourself to death, but you will also have a sense that everything shown to you was none other than cold hard fact, and those facts are: . Jeff Ross is hystericalu003cbr/u003eu003cbr/u003e. We honestly do view inmates wrongly u003cbr/u003eu003cbr/u003eIn conclusion If you are looking for a laugh out loud movie that not only provides the jokes, but an honest message, then youu0026#39;ll honestly enjoy this movie. Some again may not like the whole dynamic of switching between comedy and documentary but here, itu0026#39;s clear that it works. Although I will say that maybe switching from great punchline to sad story can be a little strange, which is why it is the only issue I had with this film. But I am an honest man and I have to go with how I felt, and I felt my stomach twist with all the laughter I was letting out, so that being said; Rock on Jeff Rossu003cbr/u003eu003cbr/u003e9/10”
