Chopsticks: Directed by John MacInnes. With Kathryn Hare, Ron Moody, Drew Pautz, Dorothea Phillips. When Jeremy sets out to learn the piano, perhaps the greatest obstacle in his path to ‘reach chopsticks standard’ is not his own musical dyslexia, but his blind faith in his tyrannical tutor – the tempestuous Stromberg.

“Having seen so many shoddy shorts, itu0026#39;s fantastic to find one that is so well crafted. The direction, acting, script and special effects are all exceptional. The film is full of wit and has a warmth that make it a rare find. Although an aged Ron Moody looks barely recognizable from his u0026quot;Oliveru0026quot; days, he is still a class act and delivers a performance thatu0026#39;s full of nuance and skill. Matthew Pigeon does such a fine job opposite him at playing u0026quot;naiveu0026quot; that you canu0026#39;t help wonder where he was when you needed to sell that old second hand car! If you want something that doesnu0026#39;t rely on zany or slapstick humor for itu0026#39;s laughs and feel like something refreshingly more subtle, then I would suggest you take a look at this. Itu0026#39;s a charming classic well worth a watch….”
