Snowcapped Christmas (2016)

Snowcapped Christmas: Directed by Christie Will Wolf, Christie Will. With Leah Renee, Niall Matter, Lisa Whelchel, Michael Teigen. An injured figure skater is sent to the mountains to recover from an injury. Once there, she meets an ex-hockey player and his young daughter and begins to realise that something is missing from her life.

“The movie was cute, and the main characters likeable. I liked the storyline. But omg could the writers not do some basic research on figure skating? That was novice level skating at best, and trying to pass off a loop as a triple Axel??? lol. A stunt double who could actually do triple jumps (as needed to be a national medalist), and getting rid of those stupid spotlights would have gone an awful long way into making the skating scenes more convincing.”
