Inferno im Moor: Directed by William Fruet. With Brenda Vaccaro, Don Stroud, Chuck Shamata, Richard Ayres. A rich playboy has a large house in the Ontario countryside. One weekend he invites his girlfriend, a fashion model, but on his way to the house he drives past a gang of crazed young men. The men find out where the house is and terrorize the couple.

“I will throw u0026quot;Death Weekendu0026quot; (aka u0026quot;House by the Lakeu0026quot;) a bone as far as its influence over future revenge flicks is concerned (u0026quot;I Spit on Your Graveu0026quot; and u0026quot;House on the Edge of the Parku0026quot; come to mind), but truth be told, it canu0026#39;t touch the grand-daddy of them all: u0026quot;Last House on the Left.u0026quot; It blatantly borrows from that film (and, to a lesser extent, u0026quot;A Clockwork Orangeu0026quot;) and mixes it up into a volatile yet shallow experience. While Don Stroud makes a fittingly vicious ringleader, his character is ill-defined (heu0026#39;s just really, really MEAN) and his u0026#39;droogsu0026#39; are just too goofy at times. u0026quot;Death Weekendu0026quot; does deliver in the suspense department, and the pace keeps moving along, but itu0026#39;s strictly second-rate material. Yet those seeking a lean and mean revenge flick (and are familiar with the aforementioned above) will probably find much to like here.u003cbr/u003eu003cbr/u003e5.5/10”
