Plane Dead: Zombies on a Plane: Directed by Scott Thomas. With David Chisum, Kristen Kerr, Kevin J. O’Connor, Richard Tyson. A mad scientist transferring a dead woman in a freezer with an armed guard on a plane to Paris. After a bit of turbulence, the freezer breaks down and she is awake, then turns into a zombie and starts to infect all on board.

“The idea George Romero never had: Take big 70s blockbuster cheese like u0026quot;Airportu0026quot;, put a few undead in the cargo hold – and now letu0026#39;s talk disaster movies. u0026quot;Plane Deadu0026quot; works surprisingly well, slowly building tension in the first half hour before crew and passengers notice that itu0026#39;s not WALL-E hiding in the „basementu0026quot;. Director Scott Thomas gets the max out of his limited budget: The movie seldom looks like a cheapo, the special effects are more than just decent, and you might recognize a few familiar faces (Kevin J. Ou0026#39;Connor, Dale Midkiff, Richard Tyson) among the living. In the realm of an undead and meanwhile mostly inanimate genre, „Plane Deadu0026quot; ranks undoubtedly among the livelier efforts.”
