Blood Cell: Directed by Daniel Sowter. With David Cotter, Nicci Brighten, Suzie Houlihan, Joshua Allsopp. Barbara adjusts to her new life behind bars, her crimes start to haunt her. Her new cellmate Evelyn is about to start an obsessive and ghostly friendship with her, one that Barbara cannot escape from.

“Set in a womanu0026#39;s prison Blood cell depicts murderer Barbarau0026#39;s experience coming to terms with incarceration. She encounters ghosts that help narrate her torment, conscience and sense of loss. It is an intelligent film with strong characterisation that could easily be a two person play. Be warned in has a micro budget (though that is irrelevant) and is set in one room I.E. the cell; so know what you are letting yourself in for. The low IMDB score is absurd and clearly provided by people with limited appreciative abilities lets say who were expecting something less intelligent and more visceral. Itu0026#39;s not brilliant but itu0026#39;s an entertaining diversion with a strong script, good direction and acting.”
