Night Out (2018)

Night Out: Directed by Stratos Tzitzis. With Mara Scherzinger, Katerina Clark, Thomas Kellner, Spyros Markopoulos. Saturday night in Berlin; a bunch of friends go out to have fun. Others are also out exploring the city and their relationships. A colorful mix of singles, couples, heteros, homosexuals, poly-amorous. Different personalities, for different reasons, give a spectrum of contemporary approaches to nightlife. They go all the way, exceeding their limits. Their journey will lead them into the heart of a frenetic night where everything is allowed. But everything here is rather comical and our characters end up where they do due to a series of mishaps.

“Iu0026#39;m not sure I would necessarily call this a comedy. Erotic Drama more like it. And with quite a bit of nudity to boast. Actually some of the nudity is connected to intercourse that at times feels as if it is real. I personally could not tell by watching and the safe bet is, that it is u0026quot;stagedu0026quot;. Then again background actors have been known to do their u0026quot;own thingu0026quot; if you catch my drift.u003cbr/u003eu003cbr/u003eThat aside the story involves multiple characters all on a journey to find something or themselves. Or someone – I donu0026#39;t want to call a human being a thing. Even if the end sequence may give that impression of some of the characters. But they all have their own mind and will. The movie itself is ok, but feels not as engaging as it could be – at least for my taste.”
