Jätten: Directed by Johannes Nyholm. With Christian Andrén, Johan Kylén, Anna Bjelkerud, Linda Faith. Rikard is an autistic and severely deformed man who was separated from his mother at birth. Thirty years later he is convinced that he will get her back if only he wins the Scandinavian Championship of pétanque. He tries to do the impossible. His fragile physique and a harsh judging environment are not going to stop him. Plus there is a 200 foot giant on his side.

“This is a strange movie at the same level as newly madeu0026#39;u0026#39;graensu0026#39;u0026#39;or the border. its about a bizare looking person, good at his sport, not as good at others, his hunt for his mum, and the trolls hunt for his kid and his wife. so up from the mountain home of norbotten the troll trots ,in a beautilully filmed landscapes, come the fatherhood, and it melts into a swedish kinda happy ending.u003cbr/u003eu003cbr/u003eits made on a low budget, the idea is good, but not well developed into a film. the grumpy old man or troll if you like, didnt find anything new or fantastic in this, so its just a five from me”
