Thirty-year-old Emmett LeClere, a former logger and recovering drug addict, returns from school in New York to make a film in his Olympic Peninsula hometown. To finance the project, he decides to grow marijuana with an old buddy. After an abbreviated affair with an ex-girlfriend ends in a drug binge, Emmett finds a promising but doomed new romance. Countering good intentions with dishonesty, Emmett is soon left questioning his place in the world.

“The atmosphere, the doing time in a town of nothing-but-work, the people, drugs and work.. itu0026#39;s all in here.u003cbr/u003eu003cbr/u003eMost wonu0026#39;t understand this movie though, but I do.. been living that way of life also. Itu0026#39;s life when youu0026#39;re surrounded by people you like, but … itu0026#39;s not that simple. Work, is something you have to do also. Emmett returns to his old hometown and after a while heu0026#39;s using lots of cocaine, selling pot and trying to live normal life. As in real life, no party lasts for ever.u003cbr/u003eu003cbr/u003eItu0026#39;s like an excerpt from someoneu0026#39;s real life these days. And a very entertaining one, I didnu0026#39;t feel like u0026#39;fwd button, where are you?u0026#39; a single time during this movie, so in a way, goal accomplished, isnu0026#39;t it?”
