Die Entführung meines Vaters: Directed by Paul Hoen. With Emily Osment, David Henrie, Jason Earles, Jonathan Keltz. Melissa has a bad case of sibling rivalry, only her competition is a fictional character in her father’s best-selling novel about a teenage super spy. When her father is “dadnapped” by a group of overzealous fans, it’s up to Melissa to help him by tapping her inner superhero.

“After seeing several months of promotions for this movie on The Disney Channel with the kids, I must say I found this to be one of the worst Disney movies ever. I would describe it as a bizarre combination of Misery and the campy Batman series of the late 1960u0026#39;s.u003cbr/u003eu003cbr/u003eI have to admit to actually enjoying some of the movies produced for this TV Channel, but this one I was really disappointed in, considering Disneyu0026#39;s build-up to the premier. I was hoping to see a better performance from Emily Osment, as I think she has great potential.u003cbr/u003eu003cbr/u003eThereu0026#39;s lotu0026#39;s of colorful flying u0026quot;sploogeu0026quot; that Disney must assume kids (still) like these days, even though itu0026#39;s been done ad nauseam, and the ending is completely ludicrous.u003cbr/u003eu003cbr/u003eBut, like others have said, you canu0026#39;t expect too much from Disney.”
